In addition to serving in various capacities in community, civic, and professional organizations, Paul has served in numerous leadership roles on the Cameron House Board of Directors, the CH Foundation Board and during the Capital Campaign for the seismic retrofit of Cameron House. His legal expertise and commitment have helped Cameron House in numerous ways. Creating safe and nurturing environments is a big part of our work here in Cameron House, and Paul’s formation of the ACBA (Asian Community Basketball Association) league almost 20 years ago is both an example of his leadership and a means to bring healthy, safe and empowering opportunities to youth. The league was created to give youth who were not on school basketball teams a chance to have fun, develop skills, and learn teamwork and sportsmanship. At the same time, it has fostered a sense of community among players, coaches, parents, and others involved in the league. |
