Food Pantry

Cameron House is a food distribution site for families who have lost their food stamps as a result of the 1996 Welfare Reform Act.  Applicants may inquire and make an appointment to see if they are eligible to receive food from the pantry.

Our Food Pantry is open Fridays from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Harvest Home

Each year, Cameron House assists low-income families to experience a more hearty Thanksgiving by providing them a bountiful bag of groceries.

In partnership, Youth Ministries and the Social Services Ministry of Cameron House carry out this mission by involving different communities.

The youth deliver flyers and pick-up donations from neighborhoods, such as the Richmond and Sunset districts, and from churches, such as the Presbyterian Church in Chinatown, St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, and Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Monetary donations allow the Social Services Ministry to purchase large quantities of Asian food items that can be distributed to and enjoyed by families that we serve.
